I don’t just take a look at accidents at work that happen in
the UK, with a few Google searches bringing up stories from all over the world.
There was an accident
at work story from New York which caught my eye this week that resulted in
tragedy with one dead and another seriously injured.
The incident occurred when a crane collapsed at a
construction site that was operating beneath street level next to a hole that
went even further underground. The boom of the crane suddenly fell and injured
workers on the opposite side of the site. The rescue operation proved tricky
due to the depth of the construction.
