The other day we asked you to guess which city in Britain
has the most whiplash claims. So did you get your thinking hats on and have a
guess? Well the answer is...
Liverpool.
A study was undertaken which found out that Liverpool has
more than one compensation claim for whiplash neck injuries from traffic
accidents for every 50 residents. This is a great difference to other parts of
the country but there was no mention of personal injury claim Birmingham on the report. One of the lower areas for whiplash claims was in Scotland but
this isn’t to say that the Scots have stronger necks than other people in the
country. Regional variations of car accidents is one of the reasons which helps
to explain the figures.
